Kaznowski & Associates was the translator for the Polish localisation of Swordfish Translation Editor - a leading CAT tool based on the translation industry's XLIFF open standard. We are also the coordinators for the Swordfish Localization Project - a project to localise Swordfish into many other languages.

Simultaneous interpreting

Interpreting services organised for small or large conferences requiring specialist audio equipment and at least two interpreters, working in turn translating the conference live. Conference participants hear their language translation through headphones.

The price for renting the specialist audio equipment is agreed individually depending on requirements.

Consecutive interpreting

This type of interpretation is used for business negotiations, discussions or meetings and consists of the interpreter translating after the speaker has spoken. Normally no audio equipment is required. The number of interpreters depends on the size of the event and customer requirements but usually just one interpreter is required.

Notes

  • On Saturday and statutory holidays, and for interpreting between the hours of 20.00 - 6.00, the rate is double the base rate.
  • The client covers all travel and accommodation costs of interpreters to and from assignments abroad or outside major cities.
